Georgy Georgiev
Born: January 30, 1976 in Pazardzhik
After a 24-year break, Georgi Georgiev won a medal for Bulgaria from the Olympic Games - bronze from Athens 2004.
He is a three times bronze medalist at European championships. In 2006 he became the first Bulgarian with a title from the prestigious tournament in Paris with the rank of Super World Cup. Bulgarian twice won the Liberation Tournament (1995, 1997). Two times world champion for the military. He also won two world and two European titles in sambo. Now he has a club - Kodokan and he is a director of the sports school in Pazardzhik.
